This was my very first ever Lavish Bath Box and I was so giddy to receive it. Bath time is a special "me" time and I take it very seriously. I want peace, quiet, relaxation and luxury 👄. I had never tried a bath bomb before but have been drooling over them for quite some time now. This is what your box looks like when it arrives. A beautiful coloured box that just screams soap and bubbles and cleanliness!

When we first open the box we get an eyeful but can't see what's inside. This card has a list of the items in your box, with ingredients and coupon codes to shop at the products' websites, many Etsy stores but not all. The other thing that happened to me when I opened the box was almost fainting from the gorgeous perfumy scent wafting out of it 👃!



Since I couldn't see anything inside I turned the box away from myself and did a blind unboxing. There are points to be given when a box keeps you excited right up to this point. The card tells us that this month's theme is #GirlBoss. A fairly generic term for a theme but the items all together do make you feel both girly and in control.  Now let's take a look at all the goodies we received in the box. That purple round bath bomb on the right was my first ever bath bomb and ladies let me tell you, I am not going back!


What was in the box:

1  Lady Boss Bath Bomb - For my first ever bath bomb this was a delight! It spun around fizzing turning the water purple, then came some white, and finally, as it got smaller it turned yellow. Smell is delicious and I enjoyed my first soak in purple water!

1  Goal Digger Sugar Scrub - I've used sugar scrubs before and this one is particularly luxurious. It scrubs and foams *and* has glitter.

1 HBIC Bath Bomb: Much bigger than the Lady Boss this one tickled me pink and it alternated sending out pink and gold glittery foam. It had a wonderful fruity scent and when finished I found a cute little tag saying #GirlBoss. The only off putting thing was my bath water was red which took some getting used to.

1  Girl Crush Bubble Bar: - This is the spiral one in the picture and I haven't used it yet but it looks beautiful and the card says it contains crushed blueberries 😲

3 Boss inspired headbands - These are really cute handmade hair ties to put your hair up when in the bath or doing your makeup.

1 Girl Boss Whipped Soap - This is a beautiful foamy soap that smells like citrus, mostly lemongrass. I love handmade soaps in general and this one is gorgeous.

In conclusion, this is one of my favourite boxes! It's on the expensive side but it's worth it. My July box is on the way so let's hope it lives up to its first impression.

CREEPY CRATE #2 Subscription box featuring creepy, dark items revolving around serial killers and all things creepy 4/5 stars Creepy Crate is a bi-monthly box which arrives at your door in a fairly nondescript box with only its name to imply what creepy things you are about to unveil. Upon opening the box you take in a burst of colour but can't tell very much as the info card and advertisements crowd your view. What's inside the box: 1. All My Friends are Creepy T-Shirt. This is the best t-shirt design I have ever seen in a sub box and it is sooo my style. Unfortunately, I don't wear T-Shirts so I'm planning on turning this into a cushion. PALETTEFUL PACKS July 2017 Subscription box for artists 5/5 stars This is one of my favourite Paletteful Packs ever! I really loved the curation this month with the theme "Draw on Everything!" You can't miss this subscription when it arrives as it comes in this bright green box. I'm already pumped before I  even open it! If you want to blind box this subscription then turn the box away from you before opening the lid as some items will be visible through the paper worms. This month those worms are an eye-popping orange which really gave me an eyeful when seeing the red, orange and black bits peeking out at me. This box comes with a list card of everything you will have received and is just on top as you open it. What was in the box: 4 - Amsterdam Acrylic Paint Markers - I have some paint pens in a few colours already but this intro pack of Amsterdam Acrylic markers (ie paint pens) made me fall in love with the brand.
